What is a Web Portal?
For a normal user a web portal is a site that shows a single point of access to information collected from different sources. It is often known as a Web "super site" that provides a host of services including web searching, news, white and yellow pages directories, free e-mail, discussion groups, online shopping and links to other sites as well.
